Do not overlook welding accessories. Paint Equipment Must Match the Finish You Want

Chassis, Frames, and Undersides Need a Different Mindset

A shiny engine bay gets attention. A correctly prepared underside keeps the project alive. Frames, floors, wheel wells, and suspension mounts take water, road grit, salt, heat cycles, and impacts that exterior paint rarely sees.

Inspect every seam, drain hole, body mount, crossmember, and boxed section before coating. If moisture is trapped inside a frame rail, painting the outside does not solve the problem. Use cavity treatment tools and coatings intended for enclosed sections where access allows. On exposed surfaces, use a system built for abrasion resistance and chemical exposure.
